Scuba diving is a form of underwater diving where the diver carries their own supply of breathing gas, usually in a cylinder carried on their back. This allows the diver to breathe underwater and explore beneath the surface independently of a breathing supply from above.
It is different from snorkelling, where a person normally stays close to the surface and breathes through a snorkel, and freediving, where the diver goes underwater while holding their breath.
Reef Scuba Diving is about more than simply going underwater. It is an opportunity to explore marine life, reefs and underwater landscapes while enjoying the experience of being beneath the surface.
Whether you already dive or are interested in discovering scuba diving for the first time, you can learn more about the experiences available and what to expect.
Reef Scuba Diving is built around Arturo's passion for the sea, scuba diving and sharing the underwater world with others.
Through years spent exploring beneath the surface, Arturo has developed a close connection with the marine environment and enjoys helping other people discover what makes scuba diving such a memorable experience.
Take a look at some of the underwater scenery, marine life and diving experiences captured along the way.
